ice cream wars

last night brusters was divine. i went with the recee's pb cup sundae in a waffle bowl with cake batter ice cream. but i did have to sample my favorite, cotton candy explosion. it's better than the baskin robbins version, although i admit i haven't had theirs in ages. even BR doesnt quite know much about their lovely flavor-they think it's pink and purple when it's obviously pink and blue.

but i digress....

rita's blendinis have become a new favorite, especially with the georgia peach water ice. getting key lime flavor is good, too.

i've been to the place formerly known as lickety split maybe once this summer.
but i discovered a new place. the farmer's market place at the corner of washington st ext and philadelphia pike says they have real hand scooped ice cream. i think i need to investigate.......
